P.S. I write long stuff.
Does your tongue have to bleed
Before you stop biting it?
Your heart is not a lion,…
So why are you taming it?
God gave you a loud voice,
A voice box dripping revolution,
So quit trying to lower your volume.
You were meant
To rattle the tectonic plates
Of anyone who has ever told you
That you’re not enough.
You were born fiery
Don’t let anyone put out your flame
With their tears of incompetence.

You don’t know me but I probably hate you.
Also. Here’s a piece of Poetry that I find absolutely beautiful…
Here we are, time slayer.
Past in one lung, present in the other.
One of them has to breathe.
I’m restless from playing see-saw with your clocks and stop watches.
The grains of sand in my hourglass have expired.
And I need to flip to dawn.
Here we are, star crusher.
Expectations in one hand. Feelings in the other.
One of them has to die.
I am burnt up good from cooking for your demons.
They need to eat, too.
And I need to leave you.
